ASI is recruiting for Mental Health Professional to work at the Prince George s County Offender Reentry Program.
The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Scope Of Work:
Pass a criminal background check and security investigation to obtain clearance for the Department of Corrections.
Completes Universal enrollment form and screening/assessment tools for participants in the Prince George's County Offender Reentry Program.
Accurately inputs enrollment, screening, and assessment data into the Efforts to Outcome(ETO) database within 48 hours of encounter.
Assesses client needs for drug treatment, mental health, vocational, social, and other services.
Follows all requirements and protocols for utilizing ETO.
Meets with supervisor to review assessment and discuss recommended care plan.
Develops client care plan within 5 business days of enrollment assessment. Care plans must be individualized with measureable goals that specifically meet the particular needs of each client.
Makes appropriate referrals based upon screening and assessment and ongoing evaluations.
Sets up appointments for the client with treatment providers and ancillary community services/resources.
Follows up with clients at least once a week to ensure that they attend all scheduled appointments and documents all encounters with clients in ETO within 24 hours.
Works with clients to overcome barriers that interfere with their ability to keep appointments.
For clients referred for inpatient services, follows up with client and all involved agencies to ensure that client enters residential treatment with medication (if prescribed) and makes a smooth transition to residential care.
Obtains monthly status reports from treatment provider for all clients receiving inpatient services.
Provides case presentations in team meetings, case conferences, and other appropriate settings.
After reviewed by supervisor, submits accurate and thorough client status reports as required to Problem Solving Courts in a timely manner.
Ensures that all documentation contains accurate spelling and good grammar.
Willingly and cooperatively perform tasks and duties which may not be specifically outlined in the position description but are within the general occupational scope and responsibilities associated with the employee's class of work.
Attends and participates in regularly scheduled supervision and administrative meetings as required.
Attend and participate in mandatory trainings and events.
Maintain training and knowledge, and other occupational requirements up-to-date and in accordance with Federal, State, County and departmental policies and regulations.
Minimum Master's Degree or higher
Licensed in the State of Maryland
Experience or skills required:
Perform initial evaluation of patients/clients, including making a diagnostic impression (Psychiatric)
Determine appropriate dispositions of patients/clients.
Provide individual, group and family therapy sessions.
Basic computer skills.
