As an AbbVie Experiential Intern, you'll participate in a paid, ten to twelve-week summer program that is focused on providing students with robust projects throughout the summer. As an intern, you will be located at our corporate headquarters in north suburban Chicago, with housing and shuttle services for eligible students.
Department Overview Metabolics Supply Chain
Manage the overall Supply Chain for existing, on-market brand; responsible for continued, compliant global supply of product and devices.
This role will support various projects for the Metabolics Franchise including Assurance of Supply projects, market expansions, process improvements, new product launches, and Brand lifecycle planning.
Individual will work closely with the Operations Brand Manager and Alliance Managers to support Brand or product initiatives including product/supply chain analysis, risk management and project management. Understands and complies with all relevant Regulatory, Quality, and contractual obligations. Interfaces and collaborates with stakeholders/customers across multiple levels and cultures, from several areas of the business (Supply Chain, Commercial, Science &Technology (S&T), Quality, Regulatory, Purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs) and establishes effective communication and working relationships within these groups.Basic:
Completed at least one year of college education before beginning internship
Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship
Undergraduate or MBA student Majoring in Supply Chain or Business Management
Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0/4.0
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated).
