Your tasks and responsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Director Sales Leadership Development, are to: Provide strategic training and development direction to BU and Division customers, that will develop and enhance the skills of their Sales Leaders and Managers;Ensure all programming and materials meet regulatory and legal requirements;Partner with senior leadership in BU and Division sales and marketing to understand the needs of the BU and their leaders;Serve as trusted advisor to BU Leaders. Anticipate gaps of Sales Leaders & Managers between current skill level and future skills and suggest appropriate development and training solutions;Work closely with Sales Leaders and Managers who are a part of Leadership Development programs to monitor and track their development;Provide coaching to them and/or development supportive coaching programs to deepen their development journey;Direct regular training needs assessment and discovery activities;Design, development and implement leadership development curricula and training programs;Act as the lead facilitator for in-person as well as virtual learning sessions;Foster a learning environment based on adult learning principles that ensures optimal comprehension, development and retention;Stay abreast of training and development best practices and current trends in pharmaceutical, device, and biosciences industries, as well as the latest clinical information related to Bayer products and its competition, in order to optimize the delivery and relevancy of training materials and programs;Direct effective vendor partnerships and relationships to achieve high quality sales training outcomes. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree;Minimum of 5 years of successful pharmaceutical or medical sales experience;Expert facilitation skills, in both in-person and virtual modalities;Expertise in designing and developing leadership development programs with creativity and clear business impact;Experience in designing, developing and implementing learning and development materials, both online and offline;Passionate about investing in and developing people;Strong client service and relationship management skills;Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond flexibly to shifting priorities;This position is located in the home office, Whippany, NJ and may require up to 30% travel.Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree;Strong personal/executive coaching skills;Prior experience managing direct reports.LI-USYour applicationBayer offers a wide variety of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
