Your tasks and responsibilities The Deputy Director of Market Intelligence Market Access serves as internal advisor / consultant to Market Access team directly impacting US Pharma topline revenue ($3B) and profitability and supporting business decision making by 1) generating insights to guide strategy and tactics across brand planning, forecasting, sales and marketing effectiveness 2) driving analytics related to channels, customers, and competitors. The primary responsibilities of this role, Deputy Director of Market Intelligence Market Access, are to: Own insights generation, research and analysis for Market Access Generate and develop actionable insights and run insights tracker for Market Access Drive primary market research, conclusions and recommendations for Market Access in specific channels in partnership with other Business Insights teams Conduct secondary research and smaller-scale analyses for Market Access Lead key Business Insights deliverables e.g. market analysis, dashboard reporting, etc. Partner with other Business Insights teams to identify data and reporting needs Support global C&BI Market Access relevant projects with US footprint Be accountable for designing and delivering management presentations Design, implement and monitor key performance indicators Serve as compliance and process steward Optimize and automate reports in the interest of resource efficiency Support development of annual market research and analytic plan Drive competency development Support development of Market Intelligence vision and strategy Advance department capabilities Support development of research innovation Oversee vendors & agencies and manage contractors (R-line) Oversee agencies and vendors in line with overall vendor strategy, and ensure compliance with market research policy Track and manage project financials (e.g. budgeting and approvals) Manage contractor(s) Who you are Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications Post-graduate degree (Masters/Ph.D.) in Health-Economics, Statistics, Management Science, Business, Marketing, or related field OR Bachelors degree in abovementioned field combined with MBA from globally leading school Strong knowledge of the US Healthcare environment across multiple segments and brands pertaining to Bayers global business Record of professional success, demonstrated through above average performance reviews, promotions, and relevant \"extracurricular\" activities/ engagements Strong analysis and synthesis skills, including experience in facilitating insight generation Effective project management skills, as demonstrated by on-time, on budget project delivery Proven leadership awareness and skills Associated topics: area sales, b2e, business development, business growth, business intelligence, channel partner, guest, strategic, territory manager, territory sales
