Global Mission Driven Nonprofit in San Francisco is seeking a proactive and motivated Junior Administrative Assistant to join their team! In this role, you will oversee daily office operations while providing top-notch administrative support. This is contract role with the potential to go full-time with the right candidate.

What you’ll do:

  • Screen and filter emails/incoming calls
  • Coordinate and execute internal and external meetings and special events
  • Support scheduling and organization of common areas
  • Maintain vendor relationships and maintenance/facilities requests
  • Develop, implement, and maintain extensive hard-copy and electronic filing systems
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and kitchen stock
  • Perform general administrative duties and ad-hoc projects as needed
  • What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2+ years of experience in office management or administrative support; nonprofit or professional services environment is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and excellent independent judgment
  • Highly skilled in MS Office with the ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Excited to collaborate with others on strategic projects and daily operations
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
