Senior Sales Manager- TRANSFLO (046132)
Manage commercial aspects of a geographic territory of terminals as well as key national commercial accounts for the TRANSFLO business unit.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
Design, market, sell and manage TRANSFLO services to assigned national accountsacross the TRANSFLO network.
Negotiate and close complex commercial proposals in conjunction with allrelevant TRANSFLO groups including Marketing, Operations, Facilities etc.
Lead and strengthen business relationships within TRANSFLO, CSXT and customerorganizations while pushing each for improved performance or increased businesslevels.
Lead and develop improved service plans with customer and appropriate TRANSFLOand CSX groups.
Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
5 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, or FinancePreferred Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, or FinanceKnowledge and Skills
Microsoft Office skills
Analytical, financial, negotiation skills
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle complex Fortune 500 Accounts
Knowledge of mainframe and personal computer systems
Knowledge of the railroad or transportation industries
Ability to effectively deliver presentations to a variety of audiencesLeadership
