Part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment. The College is seeking applicants for adjunct teaching assignments for both developmental and transfer mathematics courses.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants wishing to be considered for teaching opportunities in DEVELOPMENTAL MATHEMATICS must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree related to the teaching field of mathematics.

Applicants wishing to be considered for teaching opportunities in TRANSFER MATHEMATICS must have, at minimum, a Master’s degree in Mathematics, or a Master’s degree in different teaching field with at least eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in mathematics.

The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college’s pre-employment security screening.

Preferred Qualifications

Current or previous teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-cultural populations that support diversity, cultural understanding and inclusion is preferred. Experience teaching with or using an on-line course management system is also preferred.
